Candidates will be required to produce three pieces of linked work. These will comprise:
• a pre-production reflecting research and demonstrating planning techniques – You will create a new six part television series, which you will then script ten minutes of an episode.
• a production which has developed out of the pre-production – You will create a DVD cover for your television series and a promotional poster to advertise the programmes launch
• a report of 1200 - 1600 words – You will discuss the research you did for you pre-production and how it improved the quality of your script. Then you will analyse the DVD cover and poster using media terminology
